Reviews of Amazing Grass, Raw Honey, Coconut Oil, Goji Berries

Ok, so today I am going to review a few products I am currently taking:

1) Amazing Grass Green Superfood- this is a chocolate drink powder that is designed to help achieve the daily 5-9 servings of fruits and veggies that everyone should be getting. It naturally detoxifies and boosts the immune system, with the great taste of cacao. It is a complete raw food with powerful phytonutrients and contains alkaline green plant foods to help balance acidic pH levels in the body. Also, this superfood is made with whole leaf greens per gram than any ohter green superfood- not from juice. In addition it features Sambazon organic pure acai powder, probiotics and enzymes to help aid digestion and absorption.

2) Really Raw Honey- this honey is OMG! When u open a jar of Really Raw Honey, the cappings are at the top! (little bits of honeycomb, pollen and propolis speckle the top of the jar in hues of brown, gold and amber. This honey is rich in enzymes, vitamins and trace minerals. So good, I eat it with a spoon!

3.) Jungle Products Beyond Organic Coconut Oil: if you haven't started using coconut oil yet, you are missing out! Coconut oil is high in antioxidants, is vegan, unrefined, contains no trans fats, is not hydrogenated and is high in lauric and caprylic acid.

I usually take 2 T of this a day in a smoothie or add it to make some raw chocolate fudge. You can also use this on your skin as a moisturizer or your hair for super silky locks.


4.) Navitas Naturals Goji Berries- This is an organic superfood that grows on vines that reach over 20 feet in length in the remote, upolluted hills and valleys of Tibet. Goji berries are considered one of the most nutrient dense foods discovered. In fact, the goji berry is a complete protein loaded with 18 amino acids including all 8 essential amino acids

To Date, I have lost 25 pounds!

I have never felt better in my life. And yes, there have been days I have struggled with my weight, my body image and my self esteem. But one thing is certain, I am happier today than I was before I ate raw foods. I eat a primarily raw foods diet -90%. When I started this lifestyle, I ate about 50% and gradually worked my way up to where I am today. There is an immense difference in the quality of your health when you increase the percentage of raw foods in your eating plan. You will feel and notice it. It takes time to lose weight and I encourage everyone not to give up. There will be days where you will eat well all day and then binge at night. That can happen,but the most important thing to remember is that tomorrow is a new day and eating clean can begin at any time in your life. I will be posting my pictures soon, so keep reading and be amazed at what an incredible transformation I have went through. Much love.

Kombucha

Can't get enough of my new favorite drink! It is called Kombucha and it comes in several tantalizing flavors,but I have to say that my personal flavor is Citrus. It is so delicious! I buy it at my local Whole Foods. The health benefits are far and wide, but I definitely feel my body release garbage after I drink this. A great drink to detoxify the system and cleanse inside and out.\

Why I went Raw


Uncooked, unadulterated, unbelievably delicious, living food.
A RAW FOOD DIET WORKS FOR ME:
After years of suffering through various health issues, including candida, parasites, thyroid issues, overeating, rashes, skin problems, acne, digestive issues, irritable bowel syndrome, food allergies, fatigue, I decided it was time to start taking care of myself. So I went raw. I first heard about the concept of eating a raw foods diet a couple years ago, when my mother's friend started a raw food lifestyle. It intrigued me, but I thought about it and said, "all raw, that's too difficult." I immediately imagined a diet of just lettuce, carrots, and apples. Then I met a woman in a health food store, whose skin just glowed and she was so energetic. She was talking about raw foods and gave me a website called livingnutrition.com and I didn't give it much thought, but I did check out the website. Then I heard about Alissa Cohen on the Tyra Banks show and immediately went to Alissa's website. Now something clicked! I had to go raw. I wanted to experience abundant energy, glowing skin, vibrant health and just eat healthy. I ordered her book and said goodbye to the Standard American Diet, which I had been eating my whole life. Yes, I grew up eating mac and cheese, french fries, hamburgers, steak, Poptarts, Chef Boyardee canned crap, the whole lot. And now I changed my diet to raw wholesome delicious foods. What a difference! I feel so wonderful eating these delicious life giving foods that have been grown so close to nature. I munch endlessly on fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and sprouted grains. My energy had skyrocketed, my skin is clear, digestive issues are gone, thyroid problems gone, my weight has normalized- I feel like a new person. It truly is an incredible feeling when you wake up each day with a smile on your face and a zest of energy and enthusiam for life. I know raw food has made a difference in my life and cannot believe that I was missing out on these vitamins, minerals and nutrients that come naturally from raw foods. I will never go back to eating SAD again.
